Cambridge Folk Festival. Cambridge, England. 1-4 August 2019 – One of the longest-running folk festivals in the world, the Cambridge Folk Festival has been going strong since 1965, attracting the brightest stars of the folk music world from the UK to Ireland, the US and beyond. Yet despite its reputation for bringing in the big guns, so to speak, the festival refuses to renege on its original promise: to shine a spotlight on emerging talent. That’s why you’ll find a dedicated stage, The Den, showcasing under-30 musicians, as well as The Hub area where young artists can participate in workshops and perform their own tunes.
